 College Launchpad Program

 Dr. B's Weekly Accountability Sessions

For students who want to thrive & parents who want results.

By the third week of any college semester, it's obvious which students will likely stop attending class and fail out of their first year. They have specific tells: zero eye contact, hoodie up, body curled in on itself, discouraged. Good kids arrive on campus every fall with little to no experience making informed decisions, advocating for themselves, or speaking out from their best self with confidence. And so, I've mindfully designed EAE's College Launchpad Program to bridge high school students toward superior executive functioning skills!

5k for 1 Month Includes

  • 3 Remote Edits — our tried & true editorial support for Common App & Personal Insight essays.

  • Core Values & Voice Discovery Session
Within our 3 draft, editorial support package, we map out the student's core values, decision-making style, and specific paths forward—extending Dr. B’s critical writing feedback into reusable, personalized to-do lists and academic strategies they’ll continue to practice well into their college career.

  • Student Activity List & Weekly Accountability Check-ins
Structured 30-45 minute standing FaceTime appointments or standard calls with checklist reviews—did they do what they said they'd do, what got in the way, and what needs adjusting? Students identify weaknesses (time management, checking emails, public speaking, etc.) and practice course correction in real time . Weekly assessment drills implement EAE's 11th grade checklist, spark a follow-through mindset and level-up executive functioning. After consecutive months, such brief yet disciplined habits translate into mature organizational skills without parental “nagging.”

  • Planning Ahead: Making Informed Decisions
Practical Q & A session using low-stakes scenarios (how and why to tighten their college list, when and how to email college professors, how to find free campus resources such as tech-support, tutors or mental health consults, how to navigate different social situations, campus cultures, etc). A personalized look at where their time and energy actually go, so they arrive on campus with a realistic mindset and manageable expectations. For instance, one Gen-Ed literature or science class may require up to 5 outside hours of weekly reading, writing, and/or lab-based research.

  • End-of-Month Reflection & New Intention Reset
A closing document, written by Dr. B summarizing the student’s core values work from earlier sessions, the student’s personal strengths, academic preparedness and organizational assessment— what has improved, what still needs attention, etc. EAE students leave our College Launchpad with a an inspired path forward and a widened, more confident sense of self. This personalized guide serves as a reminder to further cultivate one's highest virtues at college with brief, disciplined routines, self-advocacy, course-correction and follow-through.

10K for 3 Months includes all of the above, modified monthly according to checklist goals.
