Remote Editing Services

All Remote Edits are designed for student writers who want professional eyes on their application essays and are willing to engage with revisions. Students submit a 1st draft (3-5 paragraphs) to DrB@effectiveadmissionsessays.com and they are encouraged to make a beautiful mess! The more detailed one’s personal narrative is, the easier revisions will be, all while cultivating the disciplined process of academic writing and critical feedback. Turnaround time is two days. In the summer, three days.

$150. 2nd edit centers on clarity and a compelling story.
$125. 3rd edit integrates style and polish.

Summer Writing Workshops

Ortley Beach, NJ

EAE's Summer writing workshops serve two purposes: help polish teen essays for college submissions and provide a day of rest and reset for moms. This 2-hour workshop is designed for all writing levels. In the inspiring setting of Ortley Beach, revision workshops are held in the St. Elizabeth Chapel By the Sea, steps away from the Atlantic Ocean. Students submit 3-5 paragraphs in Google Docs beforehand. Dr. B cleans up common errors of overwriting, disorganization, and verb-tense issues. Together, we implement all the writing strategies of the remote edits, and students leave with a clean, edited essay, EAE prepared for college submissions.
Tuesdays in July, 11 am-1 pm @ the St. Elizabeth Chapel by the Sea, corner of Ocean & 3rd Ave.
